About Me

Here you can find who I am and where I’ve traveled.

Hi, I’m Hannah.

I’m the owner of Star Pass Travels and a travel advisor who believes that travel should be as unique as the people experiencing it.

Whether you’re planning a family vacation, coordinating travel for a sports team, organizing a group event, or finally taking that dream trip you’ve been thinking about for years, my goal is to help make the planning process feel less overwhelming and more enjoyable.

Because at the end of the day, travel isn’t just about getting somewhere. It’s about the experiences, memories, and connections we make along the way.

Why Travel Matters To Me

Travel has been part of my life for many years, but a few experiences had a lasting impact on who I am today and ultimately influenced my decision to start Star Pass Travels in 2023.

One of those experiences was traveling to Greece in 2007. It was the first trip that truly opened my eyes to how much of the world I had yet to discover. Experiencing a different culture firsthand showed me there were countless perspectives, traditions, and ways of life beyond what I had experienced growing up.

That experience sparked a curiosity that has stayed with me ever since.

A few years later, in 2010, I set out on a solo cross-country road trip across the United States. Traveling independently challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, trust my instincts, and experience places I had only read about or seen on TV and in a movie.

Together, those experiences reinforced something I’ve come to believe deep in my soul: travel is about so much more than reaching a destination.

Travel has the power to broaden our perspectives, strengthen our confidence, introduce us to new ideas, and help us better understand both the world around us and ourselves.

The world is an incredible place, and one of the things I love most about travel is discovering what makes each destination unique. I’m constantly inspired by the people, cultures, history, and experiences that make every journey different.

That curiosity continues to shape how I travel, how I learn, and how I help others plan meaningful experiences of their own.

How I Became A Travel Advisor

Before becoming a travel advisor, I spent more than a decade coordinating travel and negotiating accommodation agreements for film and television productions.

Through that work, I developed extensive experience managing logistics, organizing complex travel arrangements, solving problems, and coordinating the countless details required to keep projects moving forward.

When the world began reopening after the pandemic and the roller derby community started finding its footing again, I saw an opportunity to combine my professional experience with my desire to give back to a community that had given so much to me.

I wanted to become a resource.

Travel planning can be time-consuming, especially for volunteer-led organizations already balancing countless responsibilities. If I could help leagues, teams, and event organizers navigate accommodations and travel logistics, that meant one less thing they had to worry about during the season.

What began as a way to support the roller derby community soon expanded into helping solo travelers, couples, families, and groups bring their own travel visions to life.

Today, one of my favorite parts of this work is learning what excites people about travel and helping them create experiences that reflect what matters most to them. Whether that’s a tournament weekend, a long-overdue family vacation, a bucket-list adventure, or simply an opportunity to explore somewhere new, I love helping turn those ideas into reality.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Travel has enough moving parts without having to manage every detail yourself. My goal is to help create a smoother experience so you can focus on the excitement of the journey ahead rather than the stress that sometimes comes with planning.

When we work together, it starts with a conversation. I want to understand what you’re hoping to experience, what’s important to you, and how you envision your trip. From there, I help turn those ideas into a plan.

Rather than spending hours sorting through endless possibilities, you’ll have someone helping narrow down the options, explain the confusing parts, and guide you through the decision-making process. My role isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to help you make informed choices that fit your goals, priorities, and travel style.

And my support doesn’t end once the trip is booked.

Whether you have a question during the planning process, need a second opinion, want to talk through an idea, or find yourself dealing with the unexpected while traveling, I’m here as a resource and advocate to help you navigate the situation. At the end of the day, this is a collaborative process.

You bring the vision, and together we’ll build a travel experience that feels right for you.

Let’s Start Planning

Travel has a way of creating lasting memories, strengthening connections, and providing experiences that stay with us long after we return home.

Some of my favorite moments as an advisor come from hearing travelers return home excited to share stories, memories, and experiences that would not have happened without taking that first step to start planning.

Whether you’re planning your next adventure, organizing travel for a group, or simply exploring possibilities for the future, I’d love the opportunity to learn more about what you’re envisioning and help bring those plans to life.

Where I’ve Traveled

A lot of people ask where I’ve traveled, so here’s a snapshot of some of the places that have helped shape my perspective and love of exploration:

Canada • Costa Rica • Greece • Ireland • United Kingdom • United States (43 of 50)

And hopefully many more to come.
